Sims
After learning about the urgent need to bring gas to our Village, Electronic Arts provided the funding which will warm the main house and the workshop. We were able to insulate the house attic, as well. With these repairs, our children can live in the house year round.
With this modification, we welcome our first family of young adults. The guys are looking forward to the opportunity to come to town!
Diema’s Dream Fulfils Dreams with The Sims

In 2010, Electronic Arts celebrates the 10 Year Anniversary of the legendary game series The Sims™ which, since its launch in 2000, has quickly become a cultural phenomenon played by millions of people around the world. It is this great support by the virtual Sims community that will allow EA to give help to Diema’s Dream to support our Village where disabled young people will be able to live a better life. Gorodok program will allow those who have lived all their lives in state orphanages to feel at home for the first time and to learn many seemingly ordinary things such as cooking, cleaning and gardening.
Mary Dudley, President and Founder of Diema’s Dream Foundation said: “We are grateful to EA for their help in fulfilling dreams of many children to live in a home. They need the comforts of a home so much, because they have never had it before. And thanks to The Sims players it becomes possible”.
“This help is not only a single donation to the Diema’s Dream Foundation. Rather it is an intention for the virtual community to make one part of the real world - better and happier” - says the Regional Director of Electronic Arts, Tony Watkins.
